Children's Ministry
Welcome to West View's Children’s Ministry! We believe that everyone should
have a meaningful worship experience that will apply specifically to their daily
life. Our worship and Bible studies are both exciting and fun, and geared
specifically around elementary-aged children.

Sunday Mornings
Children's Small Groups
At 9:00 am every Sunday, kids are equipped by trained and caring adults to know God's Word and apply it to their daily lives. We use the Route 52 curriculum, which is designed to walk kids through the entire Bible in a year and better understand how it is to inform our lives.

Children's Church
During our morning worship hour, kids in grades K-6 are dismissed from the sanctuary to enjoy an age-appropriate worship experience in the Children's Center. Here they participate in music, crafts and cross-centered lessons that uplift the name of Christ.

Sunday Evenings
RA's & GA's
Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action are mission-focused programs designed to ignite a passion to take the gospel to the nations. Each group participates in several activities throughout the year such as banquets, RA Racers and camp-outs.

Bible Drill
Children in grades 3-6 participate in Bible Drill each winter. Children who are fourth, fifth, and sixth graders are eligible to participate in the Children's Bible Drill. The purpose of the drill is to help children increase in knowledge of the Bible, develop skills in locating Bible books and key passages, memorize selected Bible verses and key passages and learn how to apply the Bible to their lives.

In the fall, we take a break from RA's and GA's to prepare a Children's Christmas Musical. Practices take place on Sunday evenings at 5:00 in the Children's Center, and we present the musical to the church each year before Christmas.

TeamKID (Kids In Discipleship)
TeamKID is a fun, recreation-based club for kids! TeamKID balances high-energy activities and games with high-impact Bible lessons, Scripture memorization, and life application. We include a missions emphasis in every meeting and utilize a recognition program that rewards kids for attending meetings, completing Bible-related work, and bringing friends with them.
